Interactive program offering kids and teens the opportunity to observe and handle live animals to understand different kinds of animal classifications. Meet live animal specimens during the session. Very effective and welcoming for all students, including those with special needs. Sponsored by NYC Council Deputy Speaker Dr. Nantasha Williams.
Youth Resource and Preparedness Fair connecting high school students and families with colleges, community partners and programs. Features college/university tabling (10am–1pm in the Gym), panels on financial aid, college admissions, and navigating career paths by New Visions Public Schools (starting 10:30am). Cosponsored by NYC Public Schools and the Queens High School Presidents' Council. RSVP required.
